You can check in, but will you ever check out…?
Hotel California. The legendary song by The Eagles. Have you ever listened to it carefully? The atmosphere is quite eerie. After all, the hotel is too.
I heard the mission bell and I was thinking to myself: this could be heaven or this could be hell.
Samuel L. Calechman also heard the mission bell before you. As an investigative journalist, he was intrigued by the mysterious disappearances at the hotel. He checked in. That’s where his story ends. No trace of the man anymore.
Welcome to the Hotel California, such a lovely place, such a lovely face. Plenty of room at the Hotel California…
The strange owner remains silent, the staff nervously carrying out their work, and the police are completely stuck in their investigation. The local authorities advise everyone against interfering with this bizarre case. They prefer to hush up this history, hoping that the community will return to “normal.”
Meanwhile, the hotel attracts all sorts of weirdos and amateur investigators who think they can solve this case.

Find out who’s sowing fear in the hotel and the community. Put an end to this case once and for all. Don’t arouse suspicion. No one needs to know what you’re really doing here. Is 2-Escape easy to reach?
Absolutely!
By car: E40, take the Oostkamp exit (between Bruges and Beernem), drive past the Van der Valk hotel to Europaplein (roundabout with flags), take the second exit on Kapellestraat, and turn left just before Wijnhandel Nathalie Vino. The escape room is on the left. Park your car for free, but properly.
By public transport: travel to Bruges train station. Transfer to Oostkamp station or take the bus (line 20) and get off at Oostkamp town hall. The escape room is a 5-minute walk away.
At Hotel California, we apply the rates for bookings listed above. Would you like to book multiple consecutive time slots? Do you have a larger group? Send your question to info@2-escape.be. We’ll work with you to find a solution.
HOUSE RULES
Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the game. Being late will disrupt our schedule; arriving early is not necessary. Groups arriving 15 minutes or later than the start time of the escape room will NOT be able to start. In that case, NO refund will be given. So plan your arrival carefully and be aware of traffic jams.
You have 66 minutes to find your way out without any assistance. Didn’t escape in time? No problem! We’ll let the group experience the whole experience anyway.
Smartphones are perfect for discussing your performance afterward. They spoil the experience during the game, so we’ll keep them in the locker upon arrival.
We appreciate being able to play again after your visit. Therefore, please don’t force or break anything. Anything that’s fixed or hanging can stay that way. Frames stay on the wall, and lighting and curtains remain as they are. Trust us, it’s cozy enough as is. Be sure to check your family insurance ;-).
Playing an escape room requires a clear mind. Hotel guests under the influence will be denied entry.
